Happy Birthday Henry Shaw. Missouri Botanical Garden founder Henry Shaw’s 211th birthday celebration. Admission is free for all visitors from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tour the Garden’s historic Museum Building from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (normally closed to the public) and Tower Grove House, Shaw’s original country home, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy old-fashioned entertainment and family fun including a marionette show, stilt walkers, strolling characters and more from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Spoehrer Plaza.

Family Sundays. St Louis Art Museum. Hands-on art activities and a lively 30-minute family tour through the galleries. Family Tour leaves at 2:30 pm. Visit the galleries to learn about the beliefs and practices of each culture and create a piece of artwork to take home.

Clave Sol Musical Nights. Oak Knoll Park by the pond. Evening of great music by local bands. 5-7 pm.

Amazing Animal Encounters. World Bird Sanctuary. Free, fun, family-friendly environmental education programs are presented by the naturalists.
