What Are You Doing This Weekend?

FRIDAY

Drop-in Make and Take Workshops. Children of all ages will enjoy creating arts and crafts projects inspired by objects and themes in the exhibitions of the Missouri History Museum. Just drop in and join the fun. Free. Large groups are encouraged to make reservations by calling 314-361-9017. In the MacDermott Grand Hall. 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free, 15-minute family tours of the museum are also offered Tuesdays through Fridays at 11:15 a.m. and are aimed at children ages 2-7.

Free Family Night at The Magic House. Enjoy the more than 100 hands-on exhibits at St. Louis' Children's Museum during this free family night. Two adults and up to four of their own children will be admitted free between 5:30 and 9 p.m. Sponsored by Target. The Magic House, 516 Kirkwood Road, Kirkwood. Music + Movies. Friday nights in June you can have both! Y98 Presents Music + Movies at Laumeier Sculpture Park. Bring a blanket and the family to hear great live music and to watch a free movie. Music by Ticket to the Beatles followed by "Jurassic Park" (PG-13).

SATURDAY

Botanical Garden Free Morning. Admission to the Missouri Botanical Garden is FREE every Wednesday and Saturday morning. From 9am - Noon, St. Louis City and St. Louis County residents (bring proof of residency) can get into the garden for free all year. Free admission may not be available during special events.

Bass Pro Shops Family Summer Camp paint a wooden lure Noon to 6pm.

Whole Foods: Father's Day Fun (scavenger hunt + more!) & One Year Birthday Party!

SUNDAY

Art Museum Family Sunday -St. Louis Art Museum - Forest Park 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Hands-on art activities and a family tour through the galleries.

Crystal City Park Concert Series. The Twin City Area Chamber of Commerce presents its Concerts in the Park series @ 6:30 p.m. This weekend's concert will feature Mirage. Each week is a different band; 6:30-8:30 pm, running through June 28th. Bring a blanket &/or lawn chairs. Food/refreshments welcome.
