The Midwest Recycling Center (Crystal City) is conducting the recycling event. The district has used their services for the past three years to assist in the management our electronic recycling. MRC is very reputable with certification by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, and they were very instrumental in the Joplin Tornado Disaster cleanup with waster removal of 150+ tons. Their recycling process ensures the environmentally safe electronic waste management that is also including a secure processing facility with protection from any identity theft liability.
Items that are eligible for recycling include computers, monitors/CRTs, printers, VCRs, televisions, stereo equipment, network hardware, appliances (microwaves, refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, etc.), and many additional electronic/electrical devices.
