What Are You Doing This Weekend?

FRIDAY

Baby Critters. Kids ages 5-9 will learn about baby animals and make a furry creature. 10-11 a.m. At Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center, 11716 Cragwold Road, Kirkwood. Reservations are required. Call 314-301-1500.

Birds & Binocs. Kids ages 3-6 will learn about the beautiful birds in their neighborhood, then make "binoculars" and hike a trail. 10:30-11:15 a.m. At Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center, 11716 Cragwold Road, Kirkwood. Reservations are required. Call 314-301-1500.

Wiggle Worms. Inch on over to the Missouri History Museum to hear stories about these creepy crawly creatures. 10:30 a.m. These programs engage the museum's youngest visitors and their families in historic paintings and objects by using traditional and contemporary stories. Children will also enjoy a hands-on craft or other activity.


Jungle Boogie. This week's entertainment is Charles Glenn. Bring the whole family for a free concert in the center of the Zoo from 5-8 p.m.

Music+Movies. Music this week is Swing DeVille at 7 p.m. Movie: Monsters vs. Aliens, Rated PG. 8:30 p.m. Picnic baskets and lawn chairs are encouraged. Concessions and non-alcoholic beverages will be available. Coolers permitted, no glass please.


Friday Night Flicks in Frenchtown. Enjoy a movie under the stars on the grounds of the Academy of the Sacred Heart (Fourth & Clark) Come by at 7:30pm, and bring your chairs, movie begins at dark. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is this week's selection.

The City of Chesterfield hosts a free outdoor movie at City Hall. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs begins at sunset.

SATURDAY

Lowe's Build & Grow. Build a picture frame! 10-11 a.m. It's recommended to register ahead of time & it's easy to do HERE.

Make-It, Take-It at Micheal's. Kiddos can create a CAMMO FRAME. 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Bass Pro Activities. Noon-6 pm. So much to do!: Shooting Gallery, workshops, casting pond, shooting range, crafts, & s'mores.

The Benton Park Neighborhood Association hosts a free concert in historic Benton Park. Lawn chairs and picnic baskets are welcome, as are kids of all ages. Features the band Run Drum Ramblers. 5-9 p.m. in Benton Park, south Jefferson Avenue and Arsenal Streets.

SUNDAY
