What Are You Doing This Weekend?

FRIDAY

Babymoon Storytime. All ages & is lead by the Babymoon narrator. Interactive books, puppets, and felt boards. Infants and Tots from 6 months to 5 years of age enjoy stories of all varieties. 10:30-11 a.m.

Whole Foods Child-free lunch or shopping for parents. Parents can shop or enjoy lunch while children enjoy books, crafts and coloring. A healthy snack is provided. Limited to 8 potty-trained children. Noon to 2 p.m. Whole Foods Market, Town and Country.

Craftpalooza. Arnold branch of Jefferson County Library. 4-5 pm. All ages. Registration required.

SATURDAY

Lowe's Build & Grow Kids Workshop. Build a Jewelry Organizer. 10-11 am. I highly recommend registering first HERE.

Storytelling in the Gallery. Each week has a different theme and children will enjoy a hands-on craft activity. Ages 10 and under. 1-2 pm. Missouri History Museum. Then, 30 minutes later, you can enjoy a showing of Lady and the Tramp. Light snacks will be served.

Wehrenberg's Family Winter Series. Each Saturday, each theater presents a 10 a.m. FREE family movie.

How Wildlife Weathers Winter. Winter in Missouri can be cold, stormy and icy. Learn how animals weather the winter and illustrate them with activities and crafts. For ages 7-12. 2-3:30 p.m. Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center, 11715 Cragwold Road, Kirkwood. More information and to register: 314-301-1500.

SUNDAY

Delta Dental Mardi Gras at the Zoo. This Mardi Gras celebration designed for kids includes a parade through the zoo led by Delta Dental's Tooth Wizard and P.A.N.D.A., mask making, live music, a penguin march, a float contest, prizes and much more. Admission is free for this indoor event and activities are geared for kids ages 2-10. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
