What Are You Doing This Weekend?



FRIDAY

Storytelling in the Galleries: Jammin' in the Jungle. Rrroar! Put on your safari hat and hear stories about jungle animals and their adventures. 10:30 a.m. At the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park.

Child-free lunch or shopping for parents. Parents can shop or enjoy lunch while children enjoy books, crafts and coloring. A healthy snack is provided. Limited to 8 potty-trained children. Noon to 2 p.m. Whole Foods Market, Town and Country.

Teaching Your Baby to Sign. Sign language gives your baby the ability to express his or her important needs and thoughts many months before they are physically capable of speaking and eliminates frustration for both parents and infants. Babies from 6 months and up are ready to begin learning sign language. 10:30-11 a.m. Whole Foods Market, Town and Country.

SATURDAY

Lowe's Build & Grow Workshop. 10-11 am. Build a TIC TAC TOE game. You should register first!

Laumier Art Space in Crestwood Court. Hands-on activities to spark the imagination and inspire creativity. Each day's activities are themed around the sculptures at Laumeier. 1-3 pm.

Family Film Day: Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. Bring your family to the Missouri History Museum for a free afternoon movie. Light snacks will be offered, and kids can enter to win a prize basket provided by Radio Disney. 2:30 p.m. At the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park.

SUNDAY

Delta Dental Winter Zoo. Get to the Zoo on Sundays this winter and celebrate penguins with penguin-related game and activities, animal biofacts, crafts and much more. Enjoy the interactive Delta Dental Land of Smiles Stage Show at 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the Living World, and party with Radio Disney at 12:30 p.m. Admission is free to this indoor event. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Family Sunday: Dress Up! This January, it's all about beautiful things to wear. From elaborate gold jewelry to stiff neck ruffs, or bodly pattered cloth to finely etched armor, each fashionable item tells a story. See some of the "must haves" from throughout the ages and create an artful fashion statement of your own. 1-4 p.m. St. Louis Art Museum in Forest Park.
