FRIDAY

Lewis & Clark Story Time. Family story time for ages 2-5. 10 am. St. Louis County Library- Lewis & Clark branch.

Stork Lady's Kids & Baby Consignment Sale - Shop for bargains on baby and kid stuff at the former Macy's location at Crestwood Mall.

Pattonville Heights Middle School's Public Astronomy Night. Come spend the evening viewing the cosmos with your family! Please take note that the dome is neither heated nor cooled, so pay attention to the weather and dress in a manner that is appropriate. If it is raining or cloudy, a planetrium program will be presented instead. 9-11 pm.

SATURDAY


Lowe's Build & Grow Clinic. Build a Fire Truck. But be sure to register first! 10-11 am.

16th Annual Fire Engine Rally. 10 am-3 pm at the Herculaneum Fairgrounds. Rally starts at 9 am with a parade (which runs on 61-67 from Pius to the Herky fairgrounds). Lots to do including fire safety games, face painting, & visits by Smokey Bear. Memorial tributes & competitions....Many contests... one that I hope to watch is the White Castle burger-eating contest! For more info, call 475-3080.

Geoffrey's bday party...Toys R Us this Saturday, Sept. 26th from 12pm-3pm. There will be birthday parades, kids activities and free giveaways. Locations HERE.

Dancing in the Street Festival - Go get your groove on w/ four outdoor stages with dancers of all ages in Grand Center in mid-town in St. Louis, 1 - 9 p.m. You can also learn the latest Hannah Montana dance with Radio Disney's Dance Team.

Science Expo. Rockwood School District sponsors this Science Expo featuring hands-on exhibits for all ages. Explore dinosaur models and replicas found at dig sites, toy with gravity in the Dino Bounce, pet a camel, mule, snake, chicken and more animals in the petting zoo, eat edible big suckers and BBQ worms, walk inside a 22-foot model of the earth and much more. 1-5 p.m. Eureka High School, 4525 Highway 109. Free.Ottertoberfest. In honor of the fun-loving North American River Otters, the Saint Louis Zoo will host Ottertoberfest, a fall event featuring traditional German biergartens, live music, kids' activities and more.
