FRIDAY
Music + Movies. Friday nights in June you can have both! Y98 Presents Music + Movies at Laumeier Sculpture Park. Bring a blanket and the family to hear great live music and to watch a free movie. Music by Arvell and Co. followed by Kung Fu Panda.
Jungle Boogie. The Jungle Boogie Friday Night Concert Series at the Zoo runs thru September 4. (No concert on June 19.) Scheduled this Friday is ****. 5-8 pm.
Maplewood Community Fair. Live music, rides for the kids and much more. 6-11 p.m. Deer Creek Park, 3200 Laclede Station Road.
Des Peres Summer Concert Series. The city of Des Peres is hosting a Summer Concert Series at the Des Peres Park Lake. There's limited parking in the park, extra parking is available at the Edward Jones building, just off I-270 and Manchester Road. Outside food and drink is allowed (no glass bottles). 7-9:30 pm. This week's concert features the RALPH BUTLER BAND.
Movies in the Park: Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D. Movie begins at dusk. Glazebrook Park, 1401 Stamper Lane, Godfrey, Ill. More information: 618-466-1483.
Starlight Movie Series. The city of Eureka is hosting a summer movie series on the lawn at City Hall. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the Community Center. This week the movie is SECONDHAND LIONS, starts at 8:45 pm.
SATURDAY
Farmers' Market of Wildwood. Held at the City Center (Plaza Drive) 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Botanical Garden Free Morning. Admission to the Missouri Botanical Garden is FREE every Wednesday and Saturday morning. From 9am - Noon, St. Louis City and St. Louis County residents (bring proof of residency) can get into the garden for free all year. Free admission may not be available during special events.
Car Seat Safety Check. A trained car seat safety expert will check your infant, convertible or booster seat for free and show you how in install it yourself. If a new car seat is needed, new, high-quality seats will be available at a discounted rate. Sponsored by St. Louis Children's Hospital. 9 a.m. to noon. Build & Grow Clinic @ Lowe's. Learn to build a putting green at this activity for kids. Visit the Lowe's website for area locations and to register. 10-11 am.
Bass Pro Shops Family Summer Camp. Paint a wooden lure! Noon to 6pm.
Truck Show. 8756 Eulalie, Brentwood. 1-2 p.m. Climb aboard real working vehicles from Brentwood Public Works.
Super WHY! Playday. There will be free masks, giveaways, storytime, coloring fun and alphabet bingo. 12-2 pm.
Storytelling in the Galleries: Viva Vacation! 1 p.m. Missouri History Museum in Forest Park.

Art Museum Family Sunday. St. Louis Art Museum - Forest Park 1-4 p.m. Hands-on art activities and a family tour through the galleries.
Crystal City Park Concert Series. The Twin City Area Chamber of Commerce presents its Concerts in the Park series @ 6:30 p.m. This weekend's concert will feature ERIN BODE. Each week is a different band; 6:30-8:30 pm, running through June 28th. Bring a blanket &/or lawn chairs. Food/refreshments welcome.

Don't forgot about the Race for the Cure Saturday morning. Its not free but the $25.00 goes to a great cause.
I will be there along with 60K other St. Louisians!!
