FRIDAY

Just Between Friends Sale - Shop for bargains at this children's consignment sale at Maryville University @ 9 am-8 pm. Admission is $2 on Thursday, but free on Friday and Saturday.

Wildwood Movie Night - See "Hoosiers" for free at 8 p.m. at Wildwood Town Center. The city provides popcorn, candy and beverages (haven't confirmed the snacks are free). All you need is a chair!

Public Astronomy Night. Come spend the evening viewing the cosmos with your family! Please take note that the dome is neither heated nor cooled, so pay attention to the weather and dress in a manner that is appropriate. If it is raining or cloudy, a planetrium program will be presented instead. Pattonville Heights Middle School. 9-11 pm.

SATURDAY

Build Momma a Planter - Lowe's Build & Grow Clinic, 10-11 am. Register HERE.

Free Morning at MoBot - Admission to the Missouri Botanical Garden is FREE every Wednesday and Saturday morning. From 9am - Noon, St. Louis City and St. Louis County residents (bring proof of residency) can get into the garden for free all year. Free admission may not be available during special events.

"Storytelling in the Galleries" - Each week has a different theme and includes crafts or other activities for kids. Ages 10 and under. 1-2 pm. Missouri History Museum.

Just Between Friends Sale - Consignment sale for children's clothing, toys, baby equipment, maternity and more. FREE admission and 1/2 price sale. 8-3 pm. Maryville University.

Time Twisters: Trails and Tales - A guest of the library system's year-long Time Twisters program, storyteller Carol Watkins uses historic tales and campfire songs to help young audiences understand the fascinating period of Westward expansion between between 1803 and 1853. 2 p.m. St. Louis County Library, Thornhill Branch, 12863 Willowwyck Dr. More information: 314-878-7730.

You Can Paddle Day - Creve Coeur Park. Families can view the latest boats from nearly all major manufacturers and try them out on the lake. No advance registration is required. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 2143 Creve Coeur Mill Road. More information: 314-962-7715.

SUNDAY

Art Museum Family Sunday - Hands-on art activities and a family tour through the galleries. 1-4 pm. St Louis Art Museum.

Thornhill Open House - Enjoy a guided tour of the estate of Missouri's second governor, Frederick Bates. 1-5 p.m. Faust Park, Chesterfield.
