Valley of Flowers - Florissant starts the fun at 4 pm & wraps things up on Sunday. Something for everyone in the family. Go HERE for a schedule of events.
Movies in the Park - St. Peters kicks off its monthly movie series with "Kung Fu Panda" at dusk at City Centre Park.
Storytelling - The 30th Annual St. Louis Storytelling Festival features storytellers telling tales at locations throughout the St. Louis area. 10 am.Public Telescope Viewing. The James S. McDonnell planetarium and St. Louis Astronomical Society host free public telescope viewing. The event begins with a free star show in the planetarium called The Sky Tonight. 8-10 p.m. Free. SATURDAY
Kids' Workshop - Stop by your Home Depot the first Saturday of every month for a free "How to Clinic" designed for kids 5-12. This week, make a Wheel Barrow. 9 am-12 pm.
Botanical Garden Free Morning - Admission to the Missouri Botanical Garden is FREE every Wednesday and Saturday morning. From 9am - Noon, St. Louis City and St. Louis County residents (bring proof of residency) can get into the garden for free all year. Free admission may not be available during special events.
Rec-Plex Fitness Fest - Free activities for the whole family including, aerobics, basketball, volleyball, ice skating, swimming and more. St. Peter's Rec-Plex. 9 am-3 pm.

SUNDAY
Wabash Frisco & Pacific Railroad - This volunteer-run 12-inch Steam Gauge Railroad opens in Glencoe for the season today. You can take the 2-mile trip along the Meramec River for a donation of $3/person. Children 3 and under are free. Trains run 11 am-4:15 p.m. on Sundays only. (NOT FREE!!)
