Have you been doing your Christmas clearance shopping?
I have. With our house being on the market & me being very conscientious about what I purchase (storage), I was pretty strict on myself. I had to be smart about being certain that my purchases were practical & I had a real purpose for each.
So, at Target (50% off), I purchased photo craft kids of 25. I bought 2 sets. One set will mean each kiddo who makes the craft, will be a snowman... the other is a tree. I'm quite certain I'll be back in the classroom by then, so this will mean a back up craft for a holiday party (in case I don't score a fab room mother)... or it could mean a great craft for my girl's kindergarten class (sniff sniff).
I also look for things that might not necessarily BE holiday -- but could be in holiday packaging. Last year, I bought some 3M hanging devices. And because there was a snowman on the packaging (like who cares?), they were 1/2 off. Voila, instant stocking hangers this year, for super cheap.
Some of last weekend's ideas are still good. Like Jingle All the Way at Ronnies, Arnold, & DesPeres theaters, showing tomorrow at 10 am.
What am I saying, you & your kiddos probably just want to stay home all weekend & play with every last thing that Santa dropped off at your house.
Whatever you do, have fun!
