Pattonville Heights Middle School's Public Astronomy Night. Come spend the evening viewing the cosmos with your family! Please take note that the dome is neither heated nor cooled, so pay attention to the weather and dress in a manner that is appropriate. If it is raining or cloudy, a planetrium program will be presented instead. 9-11 pm.

Lowe's Build & Grow Clinic. Build a Fire Truck. But be sure to register first! 10-11 am.
16th Annual Fire Engine Rally. 10 am-3 pm at the Herculaneum Fairgrounds. Rally starts at 9 am with a parade (which runs on 61-67 from Pius to the Herky fairgrounds). Lots to do including fire safety games, face painting, & visits by Smokey Bear. Memorial tributes & competitions....Many contests... one that I hope to watch is the White Castle burger-eating contest! For more info, call 475-3080.
Geoffrey's bday party...Toys R Us this Saturday, Sept. 26th from 12pm-3pm. There will be birthday parades, kids activities and free giveaways. Science Expo. Rockwood School District sponsors this Science Expo featuring hands-on exhibits for all ages. Explore dinosaur models and replicas found at dig sites, toy with gravity in the Dino Bounce, pet a camel, mule, snake, chicken and more animals in the petting zoo, eat edible big suckers and BBQ worms, walk inside a 22-foot model of the earth and much more. 1-5 p.m. Eureka High School, 4525 Highway 109.
