ALL WEEKEND

Fly Me To The Moon Opens TODAY!
Join the Saint Louis Science Center Kids Club Opening Weekend and Get a Free Ticket (to see the show this weekend, March 6-8)!
I blogged here about the KIDS CLUB *but* it has since changed, in that it is NO LONGER FREE. But when you read all that's included (especially considering a free ticket to FLY ME TO THE MOON), it's probably worth it... including an exclusive backpack, a free ticket to a St. Louis Cardinals game, free kids' meals at area restaurants, discounts on other Science Center attractions, one free ticket to Six Flags, and many more benefits. Especially for a die-hard Science Center fan!
Fly Me To The Moon is a whimsical twist on the story of the Apollo 11 mission to the moon. Three tween-aged flies go along on this incredible space adventure, and introduce a new generation to space exploration and to the historic moment when the world was united for this awe-inspiring achievement.

Free 'Info Call'

Remember having to pay to get a phone number from information?
Just leave it up to Google to come up with something like this...

Here's a number worth putting in your cell phone, or your home phone speed dial: 1-800-goog-411. This is an awesome service from Google, and it's free -- great when you are on the road.
Don't waste your money on information calls and don't waste your time manually dialing the number. I am driving along in my minivan full of kids and I need to call Chuck E Cheese for their store hours and I don't know the number. I hit the speed dial for information that I have programmed. The voice at the other end says, 'City & State.' I say, ' St. Louis, Missouri.' He says, 'Business, Name or Type of Service.' I say, Chuck E Cheese.' He says, 'Connecting' and Chuck himself answers the phone! How great is that? This is nationwide and it is absolutely free!

Click on the link below and watch the short clip for a quick demonstration. http://www.google.com/goog411/

March Movie Madness, Free Redbox Codes!

I just read the really great news that every Wednesday in March, there will be a Redbox Code for a free movie.
So be sure to check back here tomorrow, first thing, & I will have the code posted!

What could be better than free movies TWO days a week?!

Boxes...Don't Ever Throw Them Away....

My kids have a million toys, don't even get me started...
but, know what they love to play with the most?

BOXES. And other odd, free stuff.

My hubby surprised me with a box of glass pyrex bowls with lids (sounds like I'm crazy for coveting such a gift, but plastics scare me, so this was perfect for me) & when he cut the side of the box, I just knew this box was asking to be transformed into a little house, complete with a really big driveway.

And so, for days on end, my kiddos enjoyed having their cars drive into the driveway... we eventually even cut a doorway out of the back!
My girl got a new booster seat style car seat. And so, stealing an idea from the last Parents As Teachers group meeting, we decided to make an extra cool car ramp...just by taping the lids & tilting it up on a little stool.
And so, for free, my kids had hours of fun... with a 'new' toy!
