• DELTA DENTAL at the ZOO, MARDI GRAS STYLE, 12-4 pm. Parade through the Zoo, mask-making, live music, stroller and wagon float contest, penguin march, party with Radio Disney and much more.
• FREE FAMILY NIGHT AT THE MAGIC HOUSE, 5:30 - 9 pm. The Magic House holds Free Family Nights every third Friday of the month. These special nights enable a family (no more than two adults and four of their own children) to enjoy the more than 100 hands-on exhibits in the museum. Reservations are not required.

My kids are thrilled that I found TotLOL (the mini version of youtube). Since we went unplugged 9 months ago, my kids miss the hip & now videos that their peers can recite by heart.

So at rest time, it's a treat to set up mommy's laptop & let the littles click away.
We've set up a good bank of "favorites" & then all their 'regulars' are at the click of their tiny fingers.

Mid-Week Shouts Out

This week's shouts out goes to your local library.

At this point, I believe every library has a 'story time', complete with themed story, read to your kiddo (& a group of his peers); complete with a craft that 'goes' with the story.

The library we attend (which requires us to pass by at least 2 other libraries) even makes copies of coloring pages (usually pertaining to that week's theme) for my kids to take home.

In the summer, you'll probably hear me talking again, about the SUMMER READING PROGRAM, which our family takes advantage of (the past 2 summers, we've won Cards tickets!).

We had, until recently, been solely purchasing LUVS. Until they were purchased by Pampers (I think) & their prices went up dramatically. Then we started 'diaper hopping' again, trying different brands. Having my 3-yr old wake up wet in the middle of the night?, not so fun.
